History and Philosophy of Science
Most of my work is in philosophy of science and technology, in philosophy of physics, in epistemology, and in global science studies.
My current projects concern (1) conceptual problems in quantum thermal physics and their interplay with topics in philosophy of science, (2) exploring what a global philosophy of science can be, and (3) scientific knowledge, evidence, and explanation in AI-assisted science.
Before Pittsburgh, I did the BPhil at the Univeristy of Oxford where I was supported by the Felix Scholarship. For my PhD I have also studied at Salzburg and Northeastern.
